Education📚 is a crucial peacebuilding tool, especially in rural communities affected by armed conflict. In these communities, young people are susceptible to radicalization. The exposure to violence has detrimental consequences for youth and other community members. Equally, it hampers their ability to contribute to sustainable peace and development in their communities.
We work in rural, conflict-affected communities to strengthen the knowledge and skills of young people. Our community-driven activities enable them to contribute to peacebuilding and build resilience against violent extremist ideologies. We use the #defyhatenow Field Guide to engage these young people.
